Sudoku: Would You Like to Play XForms?

XForms for Fun Using formsPlayer

Please get a Sudoku puzzle inside of one web page with no script.
To use it you need IE 6.01 or later, as well as the formsPlayer XForms engine (fP) plug-in for the Internet Explorer 6 browser.
It is a basic version of a Sudoku just created for proof of the concept. But you can play the Sudoku game even when you are offline. You can save the results and quit; and start again from where you left.
My thanks to Mark for his un-stoppable work to promote XForms.

Nice.

You need some adjustments for the page though, for it to be a valid XHTML+XForms document.

* attribute names are lowercase (BGCOLOR, WIDTH, etc.)
* width attribute needs "" around the values
* xforms:input needs to have labels
* an output cannot have a message child
* you have a tbody end tag with no start tag
* the CSS styling is also quirky, but I guess that's a fP issue
* you need to get your HTTP-server to serve the content as XML, and not "Content-Type: text/html"

Yeah, it would be really nice to see this is a version that runs in Mozilla XForms and other XForms clients...

Thank you very much for your thorough comments and suggestions.
We will implement them.

Haiku:
There is another Sudoku page,
No script in sight.
Nice.
It must have been XForms,
This made me smile!

Writing a Sudoku Player with formsPlayer and XForms
This made me smile! Olga Goubar sent me a link to his proof-of-concept Sudoku player, written using XForms. He always you to play offline, and save and resume your game, using the formsPlayer 'XML cookie' feature. Now all we need is a server somewhere this dishes up games in an XML format!
